CEREC Milling Machine
We are proud to offer a new service to our patients with the latest CEREC Milling Machine. Our CEREC Milling Machine uses state-of-the-art technology to mill crowns while patients wait in our comfortable reception area.
The CEREC Milling Machine ultimately offers a quicker service with less discomfort. You will be fitted with your crowns on the same day. It involves taking an intraoral scan, thus sparing you the discomfort of conventional impressions as needed with traditional crowns. The dentist will then use the scan to design customised restoration which takes very little time. Next, the milling machine will do the job while you wait in our reception room or while you go for a quick shopping trip. The milling process takes about 20 minutes and thereafter, you will be seen again by the dentist to fit the crown. The whole process for one crown takes about 90 minutes from start to finish.
